Sauk Valley Bank’s Don Lovett, Dixon Branch Market President, Announces Retirement

DIXON, IL., – Sauk Valley Bank today announced that Dixon Market President, Don Lovett, will be retiring from the organization after more than 40 years of distinguished service in banking, effective later this fall.

Since joining Sauk Valley Bank in 2009, Don has continually provided the focus and dedication needed to expand partnerships and initiatives concentrated on delivering strong results and building lifelong relationships, one customer at a time.

“It’s been an amazing experience with too many wonderful memories to count,” said Don. “I’m grateful for the team we created here in Dixon–and the entire bank in general. The incredible support they provided over the years was one of a kind. I’m extremely proud for all that we’ve accomplished together. It’s all made the end to my banking career an incredible one.”

In addition to his role with Sauk Valley Bank, Don, a graduate of Iowa State, is currently a Board Member for the Dixon Rotary Club and Sinnissippi Centers. He’s had terms as past presidents for the; Dixon Evening Lions, United Way of Lee County, Dixon Family YMCA and Dixon Rotary Club. Additionally, Don has also been; a Board Member of Dixon Chamber of Commerce, a Board Member of Dixon Main Street, a Campaign Chair for United Way of Lee County, a Chamber Ambassador and a Junior Achievement Advisor.

In light of Don’s departure, Mary Oros, past Dixon Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Business and Membership Coordinator and a current Dixon, IL Councilwoman, will succeed Don as Sauk Valley Bank’s Dixon Market President.
