Ray was raised on his family dairy and tobacco farm in Edgerton, WI until attending college at UW-Stevens Point and then relocating to Milwaukee. While there, he led various banking software and consulting teams during his 25-year tenure with Fiserv. Ray enjoys serving in his community as President of the Board of Directors for Edgerton Community Outreach and is also a member of the Edgerton Rotary Club.
