Sauk Valley Bank Welcomes Nataly Chavez as Janesville Mortgage Loan Officer

JANESVILLE, WI –

Sauk Valley Bank (SVB) is pleased to welcome Nataly Chavez as our new Janesville Mortgage Loan Officer.

Nataly brings over 15 years of experience in banking, with a strong focus on sales, providing financial literacy to the Hispanic community in Rock County, and breaking down language barriers in the financial industry. She is highly motivated and has a deep passion for sales and client services.

She began her banking career as a part-time teller while attending college full-time. Early on, she discovered her passion for sales and demonstrated a natural ability to identify opportunities to improve clients’ financial well-being. Frequently called upon to assist as a Spanish translator for non-English-speaking clients, she soon realized she wanted to take a more direct role in serving them. This led her to pursue a full-time position as a personal banker, where she focused on financial education, building and strengthening client relationships, and helping individuals identify and achieve their financial goals, whether saving money or growing their wealth.

In June 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Nataly transitioned into the mortgage department. After earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from Concordia University, she had initially planned to move into a management role. However, encouraged by a colleague who emphasized the need for greater representation in the mortgage industry, she pursued a career in mortgages, a decision that continues to shape her professional journey six years later. Nataly credits her experience as both a teller and personal banker for shaping her into the Mortgage Loan Officer she is today. She has a strong understanding of everyday banking needs and has helped clients build credit, finance their first vehicles, and save money through debt consolidation.

Today, she takes pride in guiding clients through one of life’s most meaningful milestones, homeownership. She is passionate about making the mortgage process clear, supportive, and empowering, from the initial consultation through closing. She also connects clients with trusted partners both before and after closing to support their long-term success. With a wide range of products available at Sauk Valley Bank, Nataly helps make homeownership more simple, smooth, and accessible than ever. As a fluent Spanish speaker, she is especially dedicated to ensuring Spanish-speaking families feel confident, comfortable, and supported throughout the homebuying process.

“Nataly’s depth of experience, bilingual capabilities, and dedication to relationship banking make her an excellent addition to our mortgage team. She brings a strong client-centered approach and a proven ability to navigate complex lending scenarios, which will further enhance the level of service we provide to our customers and communities.” said Douglas E. Noble, Vice President of Mortgage Lending at Sauk Valley Bank.

A Rock County resident, Nataly is actively involved in her community. She serves as a board member for Excelencia Hispania, a member of Adelante Janesville–Latino Outreach Program at Forward Janesville, an ambassador for the Greater Beloit Chamber of Commerce, participates as a committee member for Beloit Rising Professionals, and is a member of Wisconsin Power Partners–Janesville Chapter.
