Sauk Valley Bank Welcomes Jennelle Olson as Retail Banking District Leader.

Sauk Valley Bank (SVB) is pleased to welcome Jennelle Olson as the new Retail Banking District Leader.

Jennelle brings more than 26 years of experience in retail banking, shaped by leadership roles that include branch operations and market oversight, with a strong foundation in relationship banking. Throughout her career, she has focused on building capable teams and supporting meaningful customer relationships while driving performance at both the branch and district level. Her people-first leadership style aligns with SVB’s relationship-driven culture and its commitment to serving customers and communities with care and consistency.


Jennelle has held senior banking positions that include Vice President Retail Market Manager with responsibility for multiple branch locations, Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager, and Relationship Banking Manager. In these roles, she led market initiatives and supported sales and service performance while working closely with branch teams to strengthen customer retention. Her background includes hands-on experience in consumer and mortgage lending as well as small business lending, along with a strong record of coaching and developing employees.

As Retail Banking District Leader, Jennelle will oversee retail banking operations within her district and provide leadership support to branch teams. Her focus will include developing talent, reinforcing a consistent client experience, and advancing strategic priorities that reflect SVB’s community-banking values.


Jennelle holds a degree in General Studies from McHenry County College and has been active in her community, including service as a Board Member for the Genoa City Joint 2 School District.
