Send money easily and securely
It’s easy to send money safely with Person-to-Person payments. This service allows you to send and receive money from almost anyone with a bank account using an email address. This eliminates the need to carry checks or find an ATM for cash.
How does it work?
Using your recipient’s email address, send money directly to their bank account-even if they don’t bank with Sauk Valley Bank. After enrolling through online banking, you can add your recipient’s name under the SendMoney feature. After adding recipients and creating a keyword for them, you can send money through online banking or via our mobile banking app.
The recipient will receive an email with a link. They will need to click the link and enter the keyword you created along with their banking information (routing and account number) to receive the money. Payments will typically process in 1-2 business days. Once the payment has been received, you will receive an email that the payment has been processed.
Is it safe?
The privacy of your information is very important to us. Only you can access your account information using your login and password. The recipient will never have access to your account information.
Can I cancel a payment?
Yes, you can cancel a payment by accessing your online banking (not through the mobile app), and deleting a payment-as long as it has not been received by the recipient.
